Cabbage Kimchi Salad Recipe

Ingredients


1 Cup chopped cabbage(1 inch) (patta gobi/ band gobhi)
1 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp vinegar
2 tbsp tomato sauce/ ketchup
2 tsp soy sauce
1/4 tsp black pepper powder
1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 dry red chilies(soaked in water for 10-15 minutes)
Steps:
Put 2 cups of water in a pan and add 1 tsp salt and 2 tsp sugar. Bring it to boil. Add cabbage. Turn off the heat immediately.Keep soaked for 5 minutes.


Drain the water and refresh cabbage in cold water


Drain the red chilies and grind them.Add  ginger and garlic paste to chilies.
To this paste, add tomato ketchup, soy sauce, 1/2 tsp salt, pepper and vinegar.
Mix this paste with cabbage gently. Serve kimchi salad at room temperature 
 

American Chop Suey



Ingredients:
Sauce:
Garlic (finely chopped) - 4-5
Tomato Ketchup- 1 cup
Soya sauce - 2 tsp
Venigar - 2 tsp
Chilli sauce- 1 tsp
corn flour- 4 tsp

Noodles:
Noodles(egg or rice) - 1 pack
Corn flour - 2 tbsp
oil for frying

Mixed veg:
Onion-1 medium
Bell pepper (Capsicum)- 1/2
Carrot - 1/2
corn - 1/4 cup
(Vegitables  may vary)

Noodles:
Boil noodles with some salt and oil
Put the oil for frying in the pan and heat it while draining the noodles
Drain the water from noodles and put it under cool running water for some time

Spread the noodles on a plate and spread corn flour on it .Mix it well
Take a small quantity of noodles and fry it in hot oil. Turn it when done from one side
Remove noodles from oil when done and remove excess oil.Fry the whole lot and Keep Aside. The fried noodles can be stored for some time.

Sauce:
Mix the Ketchup, Soya sauce, Vinegar , Chilli sauce, garlic, salt,sugar, corn flour
Add some water to it and heat
Keep stirring the sauce while cooking so that no lumps are formed

Mixed Veg
Cut and add all vegitables in pan with 2 tsp oil
Add salt and ajinomoto/MSG to the vegetables
Fry till done

Spread noodles on a plate
Add mixed veg on the noodles
Pour sauce over it

Serve Hot
